Hey everyone so as most of your were aware ELF had 50% off its entire website last week so of course I jumped all over that offer! lol However alot of the stuff I wanted was already sold so may have to place another order when they are back in!

Glamour Mag July 2011

Yes I am slightly late on this post....again lol but anyway.........
Anyone in the UK or Ireland would have seen that the July issue of Glamour mag had 3 free benefit goodies to choose from! High Beam, Benetint and Posietint. Each bottle contains 4ml / 0.13 US fl oz which is a pretty decent size considering how little of the products you use each time! The mag is £2 in the UK and around €2.97 (my local Easons) in Ireland! So less than a tenner for all 3, which of course I picked up! I own all 3 products already but decided to get these as back ups or for travel etc!

So I know I have been MIA for a while now but life has been petty hectic with work etc! :( I have loads of catching up to do on here so I'm hoping to have loads of lovely posts for ye all up soon!

Mac Haul (including Surf Baby)

So last week Debenhams online spent a few days teasing me with the pics of Mac Surf Baby but not actually putting up the links to buy the products! So when the link finally went through I did a mad dash to buy the two things that I wanted that I knew would sell out quickly- Lipstick in "Naturally Eccentric" and the "My Paradise" blush. I love the packaging of this collection, its really fun and summery! And it also has no stickers, it is all built in to the packaging which means it wont wear off or peel off as easily! I also really wanted to try out Mac's Magically Cool liquid powder so picked that up in "Honey Rose".

When my parcel arrived I realised that there was something else in the package! They sent me a sample bottle of Benefits "Triple Performing Facial Emulsion" which I thought was a really nice touch!

Mac Magically Cooling Powder in "Honey Rose"
This is a gorgeous champagne rose gold colour and an amazing texture but way to shimmery for all over the face so it is in reserve for highlighting only lol

Mac Surf Baby "My Paradise" blush
This is a amazing peachy coral blush with a heavy gold overspray (that will last a long time).

(L-R Blended together, gold overspray, base colour)

Mac Surf Baby Lipstick in "Naturally Eccentric". This is a very white nude beige with cool undertones, as you can see in nearly disappears into my NC15 skin. However it is a great colour for layering with other lipsticks or glosses!

Lastly is the Benefit Triple Emulsion Facial lotion that was sent for free. It has 8.9g / 0.3US fluid ozs in it. I will review this along with the other benefit skincare products!

Benefit Skincare

so i really wanted to try out the new Benefit skincare but because of my sensitive skin I didnt wanna splash out on the entire line and end up reacting to it! (its not a very affordable line) so when i stumbled across this trial size set from Debenhams online for only €12 (£10) I had to get it! Here are just a few pics of the packaging etc..

They are like sample sizes but you do seem to get enough to give the product a good go! I'll post a review once I have used them a bit more but so far I'm loving them!!!

Birthday Cake

So last night I went out for 2 of my friends joint 21st......(lovely Sunday hangover atm lol). They were trying for ages to get a cake for the party so I said I would do it for them if they just let me know what they wanted. As soon as I heard it involved pink and leopard print I knew I would enjoy making it lol. Now, I don't make cakes for a living or hobby, it's something I used to do when I was younger and enjoy doing. I just thought I would share a couple of pics of the cake and the 2 girls with the cake! Pretty Little Liars

Oh My God.... I watched the first episode of Pretty Little Liars on MTV a few weeks ago and I straight away ordered all 6 books that were available on Amazon! I'd heard Tiffany D rave about the series on You Tube but never really passed any heed because it takes ages for American shows to get over here :( I'm half way through the third book and I can't put them down, hope I wont have to wait for the final 2 books to come....they are sitting patiently on my Amazon wish list!

The story is basically about a group of 5 female friends and the "leader" Alison goes missing suddenly and 1 or 3 years later (depending on book or tv) they find her body. But before and after this the remaining 4 girls keep receiving really strange texts and emails from "A" revealing their secrets and setting out to seek revenge on the girls. It doesn't sound that interesting but once you get into it it is soooo addictive!
